Jessica Wheeler, OTR/LJessica graduated the University of Illinois in 2002 with a bachelors degree in Child Development and Family Studies, followed by a masters degree in Occupational Therapy. Over the years she has worked in a variety of settings including public schools, early childhood programs, a private school for children with autism, and therapy clinics utilizing a Sensory Integration and DIR Floortime approach. She has extensive experience working with children with a variety of developmental delays, fine and gross motor skill deficits, and sensory processing disorders. Jessica utilizes a holistic approach to therapy. She believes that the family is an integral part of the therapy process, and that collaboration between home and clinic are key to creating a successful intervention plan. Jessica lives in Chicago, and enjoys spending time exploring the city and hanging out with family and friends.
