Michaela CavanaghMichaela holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Providence College (Providence, RI) and a doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions (Boston, MA). Michaela’s clinical experience expands from working in outpatient pediatrics and a specialized clinic to inpatient pediatric and adult rehabilitation with varying diagnoses. Within pediatrics, Michaela has experience working with developmental delay, autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing disorder, and ADHD. Michaela has provided individual services and group services and values utilizing evidence-based practice to advance the quality of occupational therapy services. She is enthusiastic and passionate about helping individuals reach their goals of functional independence using a holistic approach, where the child and family are at the center of care. Michaela lives in Chicago and enjoys being active and exploring the city, spending time with family and friends, and trying new craft/DIY projects
